Kinderdijk is a small village about 15 km east of Rotterdam. It’s famous for the largest group of old windmills in the Netherlands. During the summertime it’s possible to take a waterbus that goes from Erasmusbrug in Rotterdam to Kinderdijk, but this option is not available now. And there is a plus in this: it’s not that crowded!
About an hour by bicycle, the route includes ferry crossing Lek river, and we were on the place. We arrived half an hour before the sunset. Quite some photographers were also looking for a good shoot. So here is what I’ve got:
